LAWN FERTILIZATION SERVICES

Crabgrass preventative and a tough broad leaf weed control are applied to get your lawn off to a weed free start. During this visit your lawn is fed with a blend of balanced slow release and quick release nitrogen, potassium and a liquid blend of natural Bio- Stimulants with micro nutrients is sprayed onto the turf to improve soil conditions.

A second of our split applications of Crabgrass preventative is applied along with weed control sprays as needed throughout the lawn. Fertilizer with Slow release nitrogen, potassium and iron is put down to feed the turf with a liquid blend of natural Bio-stimulants and calcium to prepare the lawn for summer drought stress.

An application of slow release fertilizer with iron is applied to keep the turf dark green and to slowly feed the turf during the summer. A spot treatment of weed control will be made if any broad leaf or grassy weeds are present.

A Slow and Quick release application of nitrogen and potassium and iron to start rebuilding turf vigor after summer conditions.

After soil tests are analyzed, soil pH will be determined and Lime application will be determined. If soil pH is low, Soluble Calcitic lime enriched with humic acid will be applied at the appropriate amount to raise soil pH. If pH is between 6.4 and 6.9 an amount of the same product will be applied to not change pH but to help condition soil and improve calcium levels.

An application of fertilizer is applied to help put your turf to bed for the winter and to provide nitrogen for the turf during its winter and early spring stages.

If your lawn has weed issues, we will diagnose what weeds you have and will discuss products and techniques needed to get rid of those pesky weeds. This is incorporated into our program and is included when you sign up for a full program. Control of certain types of weeds may be an extra charge.

We provide pre-emergent crab grass control applications to start your lawn off in spring with a crab grass prevention program that will keep your lawn free of this noxious grassy weed and other broad leaf weeds. If we do an application of pre-emergent and any crab grass appears we will treat it post emergently to kill any that may have sneaked in. This is also a part of our full program.

Grubs and other insects can destroy your lawn in just one season of without the right protection. We can prevent grubs and insects from invading your yard or treat your yard to kill them if they are already there. A preventative application for grubs and insects is included into the full program.

The vast majority of diseases affecting trees and shrubs come in the form of fungal infections. They typically will not kill a tree or shrub in one year, but have a cumulative effect on health and vigor. Heavily infected trees and shrubs will suffer leaf loss and be defoliated by mid summer.
